This just has to work!

Potty training already you ask? Yes! and Why? well, I don't know honestly, apparantly Ava doesn't mind her diaper sagging to her ankles or she would already be using the toilet on her own. But, it has begun and no turning back now. So, we made a day of it...she picked out the princess underwears, and helped mommy pull out the trusty ol' potty seat(that has done wonders in the past-way to set the bar high Dane!) Now what? Some but little progress and I try to praise in small ways like stickers that are now just all over the house. Is she tired of me asking if she needs to use the potty every minute? I am getting sick of it myself, and all the laundry...argh! It's hard enough being cooped up in the house all day due to bad weather and sickness, let alone, PoTtY tRaInInG! HELP! Is bribery not the way to go? I thought she wanted that Barbie Castle?(darn that pink, glorious mansion!) What little girl wouldn't? It's something I would never normally just go out and buy and I'm sure once she gets it she'll never play with it. But, Yes! Ava, my little cutie, you may have the pink Barbie Castle - once I see some floaties in the toilet made by you! It just has to work!

P.S. Notice Barbie sitting on the counter in the last picture, Ava really needs her there for support, because no girl goes to the bathroom alone!

I think Lily was her exact age when we started the potty training thing. No fun. The boys will be 3 next week, and we are maybe 60% trained. But just think, if you can get her potty trained, you will have no kids in diapers....until the next baby!
